Dehradun: CM Trivendra Singh Rawat inspected Rishikesh railway station and STP Dalwala today. CM, after checking the first yoga city railway station of Rishikesh Karnprayag rail project, discussed with the project director Himanshu Badoni and project manager Omprakash Malgudi. Work on the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project to connect Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham places with rail has started rapidly.
The construction of a railway station and tunnel has been completed. Construction of five tunnels is underway. Efforts have also been started on the project to reach the railways to Uttarkashi for Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham. The survey of the railway project from Doiwala to Uttarkashi and Barkot has been completed.
