Vijayawada: Reviewing the issues related to CPS and contract employees in government departments, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday directed the concerned authorities to prepare a detailed report on the employees under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS), including 52,000 APSRTC employees. There will be employees. He said the previous government had issued several GOs for the welfare of contract employees, but none of them were implemented. All the pending GoOs are being implemented after the YSRC government came to power.

Pointing out the legal issues in the regulation of contract employees, he directed the authorities to deal with the methods of economic development of contract employees without giving them a chance to legal issues.

Officials who informed the Chief Minister about all the details of the CPS, said that there are currently 1,98,221 employees including 1,78,705 government employees, 3,295 grant employees, 16,221 universities and educational institutions.
