BEIJING: China has now erupted over the cancellation of India's orders of substandard rapid antibody test kits worldwide amid global epidemic coronavirus. Beijing has said that it is "deeply concerned with the results and decision" of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). China has also alleged that some people are calling China's test kit 'defective' due to their biased thinking.

The rumours of alleged corruption in the purchase of China-made rapid antibody test kit in the country are at the peak. To curb the controversy, the ICMR has introduced a clarification. It states that ICMR has not made any payment towards the supply of Rapid Antibody Test Kit. Because, the procedure laid down in it was not followed. The contracts with the company concerned have also been cancelled.
