Beijing: China said on Thursday that it would not accept any 'unfair litigation' nor accept the United States (US) demand for compensation for dealing with the global pandemic Coronavirus. China warned that retaliation will be taken if the US passes a law or makes a lawsuit blaming China for the spread of the deadly virus.
Addressing the media ahead of Friday's annual session, Chinese Parliament spokesman Zhang Yesui said that these allegations are completely baseless and against international law and basic norms. He said, 'It is not a responsibility to try to blame others for diverting attention from their problems. Nor is it moral. We will not accept any unfair litigation or compensation demand for China.
Zhang said that since the onset of the coronavirus, China fought an extremely difficult battle to overcome this disease and lost a lot. Zhang further said that recent reports suggest that the corona epidemic occurred in different parts of the world and that initial cases came to grips and after that the disease progressed over time.
