The Cyber Cell of Delhi Police has busted a gang of thugs who have sat outside the country in China and limed millions of people. In just one and a half months, these Chinese tricksters have looted the hard earned money of 5 lakh people and the loot is not small but of Rs 250 crores.

The cyber cell of Delhi Police has arrested 11 persons and busted a new network of frauds. In fact, online fraud has increased at a rapid pace in the country at the moment. That is why the cyber cell has also become very active. Police had taken action on 2 Chinese applications early this year. However, shortly thereafter, the police received information that there were some other Chinese apps which had become active again and that the data of the people of the country was being stolen on a large scale along with cheating.

In the second week of May, the police came to know that there were Apps called 'Power Bank', 'Sun Factory' and 'Eg Plan' which were being downloaded and stealing the data of individuals and sending them abroad. Subsequently, these apps were immediately analysised in the Forensic Lab, which revealed that these apps were operating from China and were luring individuals to make money by investing money.
