After coming out of jail on bail, Chinmayanand visited Hanumat Dham in Visrat

Former Union Minister of State for Home Chinmayananda was released from jail on Wednesday. He is in jail since September 20 on charges of rape. The court has released him after a long hearing.  He was released at five in the evening. During the release, a large crowd of his supporters were present at the jail gate. Supporters welcomed him with flowers and garlands. Chinmayananda came out of the jail and reached Hanumat Dham in Visrat with BJP leader and former MLC Jayesh Prasad. There was a convoy of other vehicles behind his car. On reaching Hanumat Dham, he worshipped. After this, he went to Mumukshu Ashram. Before that he was welcomed by his supporters near Keruganj. His supporters were quite excited to see Chinmayanand out of jail.

According to media reports, NCC cadet saluted him here when he reached Mummukshu Ashram. College staff and supporters also welcomed him with roses at Mumukshu Gate. He reached Divyadham at Mumukshu Ashram. For a while, he sat in the verandah, then went into the room with a crowd of supporters. After some time, he got out of Divyadham and talked to his supporters.

After coming out of jail, he did not talk to the media. SIT had presented Chinmayanand in CJM court on September 20 on the charge of raping an LLM student.  He was in jail since then. On Monday, his bail was approved by the Allahabad High Court. Letters of bail approval orders were filed in MP-MLA Special Court late on Tuesday evening.
