Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was on a two-day visit to Chitrakoot on Friday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has shown tough attitude after inspecting the district hospital on Saturday. After CM Yogadityanath went back, the CMS questioned the CMO of all the flaws in the hospital. Apart from this, both officers have been transferred to non-district with immediate effect and new officers have been posted here.

During his visit, the Chief Minister had asked the CMO and the District Magistrate to improve the system during the district hospital inspection. As soon as he left from here, the order of transfer of both came from Lucknow. Chief Medical Officer Dr Rajendra Singh has been sent to Joint Director Medical Health and Family Welfare Kanpur Division. In his place here, Senior Consultant of Banda, District Vinod Kumar, Chief Medical Officer will take over the chair of Chitrakoot. Banda's senior paediatrician Dr RK Gupta has been made the Chief Medical Superintendent District Hospital Karvi. So far the current Superintendent posted here has been given the responsibility of Senior Advisor Banda.
According to the media report, Yogi, who reached the district hospital in the morning, had given instructions to provide better health services. After visiting the OPD and ward with Hospital Emergency located at Karvi Sonepur Road and took stock. During this, the Chief Minister called DM Seshamani Pandey, CMO Dr Rajendra Singh and said that the poor should not have any problem in getting health services.
