Leeds: During the third Ashes Test, Stuart Broad removed David Warner for the 17th time in Test cricket, prompting his father, Chris Broad, to post a meme.

Australia may have had a comfortable 2-0 lead in the Ashes series, but David Warner, the team's opening batter, continues to struggle as he is victimized by Stuart Broad twice in as many innings during the Headingley Test. Warner's problems were made worse by the fact that he was out in virtually the same way in both innings.

Warner could only withstand five deliveries from Broad in the first before nicking one to Zak Crawley in the second slip. Warner nicked one to Crawley at the same location on Day 3, this time lasting five balls once more.

Warner was removed by Stuart Broad for the 17th time in the game's longest format, and the Australian opener couldn't help but smile wryly as he made his way back to the dressing room.

As was to be expected, Warner's problems against Broad sparked a flurry of memes on social media, but even Chris Broad, Stuart's father and an ICC match referee, got in by sharing a meme about Warner.

The character "Bart" could be seen writing on a chalkboard in a scene from the American animated sitcom "The Simpsons," which Broad tweeted a picture of. The lettering on the whiteboard reads, “Stuart Broad has got me out again,” but Warner's face has been edited into the character's place.

However, the fans on Twitter weren't too happy with Broad senior making fun of Warner's difficulties. Many criticized Chris Broad, saying that as a seasoned match official connected to the ICC, he shouldn't lower himself to mocking players.
