Chrissy Teigen recently opened up about losing her and John Legend's son Jack while sharing her experience with an abortion. Following the publication of her tale last week, Teigen faced harsh criticism for her decision to publicly state that her pregnancy loss wasn't a miscarriage. The author of Cravings has now replied to the online criticism in a similar manner.

Teigen revealed during her speech at the Propper Daley A Day of Unreasonable Conversation symposium that her pregnancy loss in the fall of 2020 wasn't a miscarriage as she had initially believed. She said, "Let’s just call it what it was: It was an abortion. An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance. And to be honest, I never, ever put that together until, actually, a few months ago."

After admitting that she had an abortion, Chrissy was accused by online users of taking advantage of her experience with pregnancy loss and abortion. Chrissy shared screenshots of the derogatory remarks against her on Twitter, "I knew this would happen, and honestly I’ve already seen you do your worst so if this makes you feel better, great. It doesn’t make me feel worse though."

Teigen was accused of "milking" her experience of losing her kid, Jack, in the insults made against her. A few online commenters also pointed out that she was "trying to stay relevant" by speaking at the invitation-only event and others even accused her of lying. Chrissy posted screenshots of the comments and called them "brutal."
