Borussia Dortmund Achieved the Christmas Carol World Record at Signal Iduna Park. This past weekend marked a historic moment at the Signal Iduna Park, as Borussia Dortmund proudly set a new world record with an impressive turnout of 73,056 enthusiastic supporters joining together to sing Christmas carols.

The fifth edition of the "Dortmund Sings Christmas Carols" event was a jubilant occasion, drawing fans to the heart of Dortmund's stadium to celebrate the joyous holiday season in a groundbreaking manner.

The event saw the presence of key figures including first team head coach Edin Terzic, along with current star players Emre Can, Nico Schlotterbeck, and Sebastien Haller. Additionally, former players such as Patrick Owomoyela, Kevin Großkreutz, and Marcel Schmelzer graced the occasion.

A significant highlight of the day came when BVB managing director Carsten Cramer was presented with the official certificate acknowledging the club's achievement in breaking the world record. The orchestration of this memorable feat involved the collaboration of several music stars.

Expressing gratitude on behalf of Borussia Dortmund, Cramer remarked, "What you fans did was extraordinary. The fans are incredible. Borussia Dortmund extends heartfelt thanks to these fans and deeply respects their support."

Notably, the event also served as a platform for charitable contributions. In 2022, a remarkable sum of €100,000 was raised, and this year's rendition of carol singing is anticipated to generate even more funds. The proceeds will go towards supporting various local charities and social initiatives, including the BVB Learning Centre, Nordstadtliga Dortmund street football league, Lensing Media Hilfswerk charity, and the Gast-Haus e.V. homeless initiative.
