The CID is investigating the Ramathiratham incident. Ramatirtham Bodukonda was examined by CID Additional DG Sunil Kumar on Tuesday. Asked for details from the authorities. He later told the media that the incident was "deliberate". For political gain, the government is alleged to have perpetrated this atrocity with the faction.

It has been revealed that a saw used to destroy the idol of Lord Rama has been found and several clues have been collected. He said neither the jewelery nor the items in the temple were stolen and the incident was committed to do politics. CID Additional DG Sunil Kumar said that the culprits would be caught soon as an impartial investigation would be carried out.
