New Delhi:-   After Ron DeSantis' presidential campaign shared bizarre videos widely described as homophobic and homosexual, including footage of Cillian Murphy's role in Peaky Blinders, Britain's The crime drama production team condemned the video, adding that the Dai Show footage was "obtained with or without permission." official license”. 

A video shared on Twitter by the DeSantis campaign denounced rival 2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump's promise to "protect the LGBTQ public." The video also ridicules President Trump's defense of Caitlyn Jenner's right to choose her own bathroom and allow transgender women to compete in the Miss Universe pageant.

This cut, first shared by @ProudElephantUS and then reposted to DeSantis' Rapid Response campaign account @DeSantisWarRoom, features apparently queer rapper and author Tyler shouting "Psycho!" Revolves around clips. before bragging about DeSantis' various legislative attacks against LGBTQ people.

Sandwiched between an image of a male bodybuilder from "American Psycho" and a clip by Christian Bale, the image shows the Republican governor of Florida wearing sunglasses over the headline. "Mr. DeSantis signs list of most extreme anti-trans laws in modern history." 

It includes two clips of Murphy's Peaky Blinders character Tommy Shelby, along with other images of shirtless men and breaking news headlines. Mr. Murphy owns the rights to Peaky Blinders creator Stephen Knight, Caryn Mandaback Productions, Tiger Aspect Productions, and Bunny Jay.

A representative for DeSantis did not immediately respond to Variety's request for comment. This isn't the first time DeSantis has appeared in Hollywood. Notably, the Republican presidential candidate launched a legal battle with Disney by stripping it of its ability to self-manage the 25,000-acre campus of Orlando Amusement Park.

In a May conference call, Disney CEO Bob Iger discussed DeSantis' actions in response to his stance on the controversial 2022 Florida governor's "Don't Call Me Gay" bill. said it was "retaliatory" against entertainment giant Disney.

Cillian Murphy is totally against the video that the DeSantis Campaign posted on the Twitter platform and got simply Denounced. The video includes the actual clip of the movie that he worked in.
