Looks like the good news for the festival is the release of Maha Samudram, Most Eligible Bachelor and Pelli Sanda which is going to hit the screens this Dussehra. The filmmakers were worried due to the situation in theaters and pushed the release of the film, but it looks like they will breathe a sigh of relief now. Because the Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday issued a GO allowing theaters to run fully in the state.

Since the state has less Covid-19 cases, the government has allowed cinema halls to remove the 50% occupancy cap already in place with them. Announcing the news on social media, Dil Raju wrote, "We are thankful to AP Govt. To do away with the need to keep alternate seats vacant in cinema halls.

Our heartfelt thanks to CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Garu, Minister Perni Nani Garu for their support. This is an important step in the reconstruction of the film industry. (sic)"All the major production houses also expressed their gratitude to AP Sarkar. Ever since the second wave of coronavirus has hit the country, theaters are facing the brunt of it.
