The Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA), one of the most recognized associations of artists in India, and is an affiliate of the International Federation of Actors (FIA). Recently, at its 62nd Annual General Meeting (AGM), the CINTAA Hall of Fame award was conferred with many dignitaries from the entertainment industry. The members present on the dais included Darshan Jariwala (Vice-President), Amit Behl (Hon'ble General Secretary), Rajeshwari Sachdev (Senior Joint Secretary), Abhay Bhargava (Treasurer), Sanjay Bhatia (Joint Secretary) and other members.

In this AGM, tributes were paid to the stars who have left this world in the last one year. The names of these actors also included the name of Siddharth Shukla. Sidharth Shukla's death was a huge blow not only to his fans and family but to everyone. He died last year. Along with Sidharth Shukla, tributes were also paid to late stars like Taarak Mehta fame Ghanshyam Nayak, Arvind Trivedi, Nitin Malhotra, Baldev Trehan, Madhavi Gogte-Barve, Mushtaq Merchant, Arun Verma, Ramesh Dev, Sanjay Kumar, Ajay Kumar Sharma, Akash Nath, Shiv Subramaniam, Manju Singh, Arun Khanna and Salim Ghosh.

Due to this, some of the legendary artists were also awarded the "Hall of Fame" award on behalf of "CINTAA". The names of the awardees include veteran actors Anil Dhawan, Aron Bali, Kiran Kumar, Pankaj Dhir, Ratna Pathak Shah, Smita Jayakar, Neena Kulkarni, Anita Kanwal. Apart from paying tributes to the departed stars and felicitating some of the artists, decisions on many important issues were also taken in this meeting. Complaints were also made to "CINTAA" on behalf of the actors on several issues.
