Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty’s once again back with their most awaited films Cirkus, which released on this Friday. Cirkus is expected to earn a good amount as because of Christmas and New Year mood setting up, the film is expected to attract huge earnings for the festivals. However, its look like the audience are not satisfied Box office earning is very low even after the third day of the release is very low.

According to a Box office report, “On Day 3 estimates, the film on the third day managed to collect around Rs 7.45 crore. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Cirkus had minted Rs 6.25 crore on its opening day which is rather a poor number for a holiday release. On Day 2, it showed insignificant growth and managed to earn Rs 6.40 crores. The third day showed a growth of just 1 crore, which is not good for a multu-starrer film with great artist.

The film has delivered Rohit Shetty’s worst opening in a decade. His last release, Sooryavanshi, which came out in the theaters amid the pandemic.  The film, which is in its second week now, did better business on its second Friday than Cirkus. It earned in the range of Rs 11.50-Rs 13.50 crore.

Cirkus was released on December 23, 2022.It features Ranveer Singh in a double role. The film also stars Siddhartha Jadhav, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Sulbha Arya, and Vrajesh Hirjee, among others. It also features Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn in special appearances. Cirkus is based on the 1982 Hindi film Angoor, which itself is a remake of the 1968 Hindi film Do Dooni Chaar.
