Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty’s once again back with their most awaited film Cirkus, which released on this Friday. Cirkus is expected to earn a good amount as because of Christmas and New Year mood setting up, the film was expected to attract huge earnings for the festivals. However, the were not satisfied Box office earnings is very low. The film is proved as the Biggest Disaster of Rohit Shetty.
As per the reports, Ranveer Singh’s film Cirkus failed to perform at the box office. The film released on December 23 and had a low opening day figure. Since the beginning, the film has failed to record any high figures. As a result, it is unlikely for the film to reach the 40 crore nett mark. Cirkus continuously saw a dip at the box office and on its eighth day.
According to Box office reports, “ It reportedly collected as low as Rs 1 crore. For a festive season, this is perhaps the lowest a Rohit Shetty film has collected in a long time. Cirkus’ total collection over 8 days stands around Rs. 31 crore, which is underwhelming for Rohit and Ranveer’s collaboration.”
Cirkus was released on Decemer 23, 2022. It features Ranveer Singh in a double role. The film also stars Siddhartha Jadhav, Sanjay Mishra, Murli Sharma, Sulbha Arya, and Vrajesh Hirjee, among others. It also features Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn in special appearances. Cirkus is based on the 1982 Hindi film Angoor, which itself is a remake of the 1968 Hindi film Do Dooni Chaar.
