CJI Bobde inaugurates e-service centre in Tripura High Court

Chief Justice of India Sharad Arvind Bobde on Wednesday inaugurated the e-service centre at the Tripura High Court in Agartala. Chief Justice of Tripura High Court, Akhil Kureshi and other dignitaries were also present in the event. The e-Sewa Kendras have been created in the High Court to enable litigants to obtain information with respect to the case status and obtain copies of judgments and orders.

Speaking on the occasion, CJI Bobde said the eSewa Kendra would help the people to get more access to the legal system. Speaking on the occasion, CJI said, “Though the progression of technology depends on the resources but systems like eSewa Kendra would help the people to get more access to the legal system.” He also highlighted the rich culture and heritage of Tripura.

The inaugural programme was also attended by Tripura High Court judges, Justice Subhasis Talapatra and Justice SG Chatterjee and other eminent lawyers. While addressing the gathering, Chief Justice of Tripura High Court AA Kureshi stressed the careful handling of technology with a humanitarian touch.CJI reached Agartala in the morning on Wednesday on a day-long visit. He also visited the Tripureswari Temple at Udaipur.
