Jaipur: Eight months after the leak of a phone conversation between a Union Minister and Congress leaders in Rajasthan, the state has once again created a new political crisis and the issue of illegal phone tapping has started catching up. In fact, the state government has finally admitted eight months later that the phone of the Union minister and Congress leader was tapped by his government.
It is noteworthy that in July last year, the audio of a phone conversation between a Union minister and a Congress leader in Rajasthan went viral. After which there was a dispute. The BJP and the BSP accused the State Congress government of illegally tapping the phone. After which CM Ashok Gehlot's government has confirmed that the phones were actually intercepted. Phone intercepted means a third can hear the two-people talks.
Last year, the issue of phone tapping was heated between Sachin Pilot and CM Ashok Gehlot. at the same time, Ashok Gehlot alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was trying to buy their MLAs.
