Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu earlier showed his support towards the Demonetisation move. On Wednesday, While addressing Telugu Desam workshop he said "Demonetisation was not our wish but it happened. More than 40 days after demonetisation, there are still a lot of problems but yet there appears to be no solution" .

Now, yesterday he clarified his comment and said he was not against the PM Modi Demonetisation ban but he was concerned about the problems and suffering of the people.

The Minister said "he had only commented on the lapses in implementation of currency ban - the suffering of the people after more than one month due to the non-availability of currency. It is very painful to see reports of old people collapsing while waiting at ATM counters."
