Dehradun: CM Pushkar Singh Dhami made several announcements at bissu mela held at Jakhol village of Mori block. He announced beautification of Someshwar Mahadev Temple, upgradation of CHC Purola to sub-district hospital, chc mori to CHC, construction of Natwad Sankri Jakhol motor way under hat mix plan and opening of a college at Nagaon.
 
On Friday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Bissu Mela at Jakhol village in Mori block. Due to this, he said that this region of ours of Mother Ganga is a spiritual and cultural center. So, it is our goal to bring in the UCC (Uniform Civil Code). We have decided to set up a committee comprising policy and legal experts which will prepare a draft on the UCC.

Earlier, Chief Minister Dhami had inaugurated the two-day Badhanital Tourism and Baisakhi Mela at Kholi Block Tourist Spot Badhanital on Thursday. On this occasion, the CM had announced construction of tourist accommodation at Badhanital, beautification of Badhanital and hotmixing of Bersir-Badhanital motor way. Due to this, Dhami had said that devbhoomi Uttarakhand has an ancient tradition of mythological fair, Teej-festival. He said the Government is committed to the conservation, promotion and dissemination of these ancient cultural heritages. He said that concrete arrangements will be made for time-bound disposal of public problems from cities to villages.
