Jaipur: The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has opened a front against the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government of the state over the attack on a procession taken out by Hindus in a Muslim-dominated area on the day of Ram Navami in Karauli district of Rajasthan. The BJP had announced a Nyay Yatra to protest against the Karauli violence.

But before the start of the Nyay Yatra, the National President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) and BJP's Lok Sabha MP Tejashwi Surya has been arrested by the Rajasthan Police. CM Ashok Gehlot himself has now targeted the BJP, demanding justice for the violence against Hindus in Karauli.

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has said that in the states where BJP is in government, there were riots on Ram Navami. Ashok Gehlot has claimed that in Rajasthan, people of all communities together celebrated the festival of Ram Navami. CM has also said by tweeting that if someone does something in Rajasthan, then strict action will be taken. However, Gehlot may have forgotten that in Karauli where Hindus were attacked and their shops were burnt, there is no BJP but Congress government and Gehlot himself is the CM.
