Vishnu Dutt Sharma, MP from Khajuraho, has been appointed as the new BJP President in Madhya Pradesh, the heartland state of India. He will replace Rakesh Singh. Bharatiya Janata Party National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has appointed BD Sharma as the President of Madhya Pradesh BJP with immediate effect.

According to media reports, Chief Minister Kamal Nath has congratulated Khajuraho MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma on becoming BJP state president. He tweeted and wrote, 'Many congratulations to Shri Vishnudutt Sharma, MP from Khajuraho in the state for being appointed as the President of Madhya Pradesh BJP. I hope that they will get cooperation in the work being done by the state government for the development, progress and well-being of the people of the state.

Apart from this, former Chief Minister and BJP National Vice President Shivraj Singh has also praised VD Sharma and wished him. Shivraj Singh tweeted and wrote, 'Popular MP, Karmath Saathi Shri VD Sharma, whenever you have been given any work, you have given it new heights, set new standards. Awards like Kalam Innovation and Governance Award, Youth Leader Award worked to honor your efforts. My best wishes for your new role.
