On Thursday, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao said that registration of non-agricultural property on Dharani would be taken up after a fortnight or three weeks. After inaugurating the Dharani portal in Mudu Chintalapalli of Shamirpeta mandal in Malkajgiri district, he said that there was a delay due to multiple shareholders when it came to non-farm assets.
Sharing some details about non-agricultural transactions, CM Chandrashekhar Rao said private property owners allow their details to be hidden under the non-agricultural department. He said "A choice will be given on the portal itself for this purpose. Sometimes, valuable land owners need this aspect of privacy, fearing that their details can be targeted by unreasonable elements if their details are displayed publicly on the portal".
The Chief Minister assured the people that all the information uploaded to the portal will be secure with the latest technology. The portal's servers are located in four different locations and their information is bundled for security reasons.
The Dharani portal was launched by CM KDS, who praised the government's work
