New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference. Meanwhile, he congratulated the sanitation workers on getting confirmed and also wished the people of Delhi for the upcoming festivals. CM Kejriwal has said that we have fulfilled the promise made to the sanitation workers of Delhi. We have also confirmed 5000 raw sweepers in the Municipal Corporation. Many congratulations to all of you.

During the press conference, the CM first said that I have come here to give some good news to all of you. MCD House meeting was held yesterday. In this, 5 thousand sanitation workers have also been confirmed. Since January till now, our government has confirmed more than 6 thousand employees. There was no information about the jobs of the raw employees. There was BJP government in the corporation for 15 years. These people are also being exploited. There was a demand from the sanitation workers that they should also be made permanent. Now we have fulfilled our promise. Along with this, Chief Minister Kejriwal also extended best wishes for the upcoming festivals. Diwali is about to come and this announcement is the biggest.

Delhi government assures employees: The government has given gifts to the sanitation workers of the corporation before Diwali. 5 thousand sanitation workers have been regularized and 3100 DBC employees have been made Multi Task Staff (MTS). Along with this, a proposal has been passed to set up a parallel agency to strengthen the sanitation system and eliminate the mountains of garbage. All these proposals were passed in the House on Tuesday. The Mayor said that after the formation of the standing committee, these proposals are going to be taken further.

Mayor Dr. Shaili Oberoi, in a press conference at the Delhi Municipal Corporation headquarters along with Deputy Mayor Ale Mohammad Iqbal and Leader of the House Mukesh Goyal, said that the opposition had created a ruckus before the commencement of the House meeting. Despite this, the public welfare proposals were passed unanimously. Children of poor class studying in corporation schools are going to be given Rs 1100 per student for uniform. All the proposals brought in the House are going to provide relief to the people of Delhi and the employees of the corporation. The Mayor said that the principals of the corporation are going to be sent to universities like Oxford, Cambridge to provide better training. This will also increase the level of education in schools. 54 out of 58 proposals were passed. Three proposals have been postponed and one has also been rejected. All these proposals are going to be discussed and then they can be passed. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Good Governance Model has also been started in MCD.
