Bhopal: On the occasion of World Yoga Day, celebrations were held in different parts of India. In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan practiced yoga with the students at the CM's office in capital Bhopal. On this occasion, the Chief Minister has greeted the countrymen on the occasion of International Day of Yoga. The Chief Minister said that do yoga yourself and inspire others for the same. The Chief Minister further said that through Yoga, you will be healthy and will also be a partner in building a healthy society and nation.

After performing asanas with students on the occasion of Yoga Day, the Chief Minister said that yoga education will also be imparted in the schools of the state. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that this will benefit the students. Apart from this, the CM said that a Yoga Commission will also be formed in the state soon. According to the Chief Minister, the preparations for the formation of the Commission have almost been completed and soon the Commission will start its work.

Due to this, Shivraj Singh Chouhan also mentioned about an accident that happened to him. The Chief Minister said that in the year 1998, I had a terrible accident. Then, I didn't think I would be able to walk again. I have problems doing some asanas of yoga. But today you may not think that my body is broken from 8 places. Today I can work 18-18 hours. Let us know that in the year 2014, PM Narendra Modi first started celebrating the International Day of Yoga. At the UN meeting, PM Modi proposed to celebrate Yoga Day, after which international yoga day was announced on 11 December 2014 on 21st June every year.
