More than 35 per cent of the amount has been increased in the Budget for infrastructure development. This will create employment opportunities along with the development of infrastructure. It is a budget for women's empowerment, providing employment to the youth, the welfare of the poor and farmers and building a powerful India.
Former CM and Pradesh Congress Committee President Kamal Nath said that the Centre's budget has proved to be completely disappointing. It has only proved to be full of statistics and then false dreams. There is nothing in this Budget for any category. The common people had been demanding for a long time to increase the exemption in the income tax department slabs, but no relief was provided. There is no point in this Budget on the MSP guarantee. False dreams of doubling the income of the farmers have been shown. Kamal Nath said those who dreamt of giving 2 crore jobs every year 7 years ago are still showing false dreams of providing 60 lakh jobs.
