Indore: CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan inspected the damaged crops in Khategaon, Madhya Pradesh. CM Shivraj said that "When the farmers are in trouble, then I cannot sit idly. The date of crop insurance has been extended to 31 August. In this hour of crisis, farmers will be fully assisted". CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that crop insurance will be done by 31 August after seeing the soybean crop in the district's Khategaon area.

He said that "Corona broke the back of the economy. I am with the farmers. In two-three days, there has been more loss of crops. Farmers are in trouble and I could not sit comfortably at home, that's why I have come here. Tomorrow I will go to other districts and see the status of crops". A woman told CM Shivraj that "The entire crop has been destroyed during two hours of rain". CM Shivraj was made aware of how the soybean plants crop got destroyed.

CM Shivraj also addressed a gathering at the Agricultural Produce Market in Khategaon. He said that farmers should not be disappointed and promised them the Government is standing with them in every situation. Shivraj Singh has said that he will make a strategy in the interest of farmers. "We will take the farmers out of this problem," says Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
