Bhopal: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has announced the names of its candidates on eight seats in Gwalior-Chambal region for the by-elections to be held in 27 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. The BSP has also received good public support in this area earlier. BSP state unit president Ramakant Pippal on Friday announced the names of the candidates.
He told that former MLA Sonraram Kushwaha from Jaura, Ramprakash Rajoria from Morena, Yogesh Meghsingh Narwaria from Mehgaon, Kailash Kushwaha from Pohri (all general seats), Bhanupratap Sakhwar from Ambah, Jaswant Patwari from Gohad, Santosh Gaur from Dabra and Rajendra Jatav from Karaira (Reserved seat for all Scheduled Castes) has been declared a candidate for the by-election. He said that this list has been prepared according to the order of party president and former Uttar Pradesh CM Mayawati.
Let us tell you that bye-elections are proposed in 27 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. However, the Election Commission has not announced the election schedule yet. In the 2018 assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, the BSP won two seats. Out of a total of 230 assembly seats in the state, 27 seats are vacant.
