Satna: The last rites of Satna's brave son Karnaveer, who attained valour while fighting terrorists in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, were performed in village Daldal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also reached Daldal village to bid a final farewell to martyr Karnveer. He reached village Daldal in the district and paid homage to martyr Karanveer Singh. Let me tell all of you that the last rites of Martyr Karanveer Singh of Satna were performed with state and military honours in his home village, Daldal.

 

During this time, his elder brother Shakti Pratap Singh paid obeisance. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on the other hand, also reached shaheed's village at 11 am on Friday and laid flowers on the mortal remains of martyr Karanveer Singh. In the meantime, he said, "Karanveer Singh has brought glory not only to Madhya Pradesh but also to the entire country. His family will be given an honorary fund of Rs 1 crore and the martyr's brother will be given a job in government service and a memorial will be built in the village in his memory.''

At the same time, he said, "The immortal martyr of village Daldal of Satna, Karanveer Singh Rajput, has made his supreme sacrifice while serving Mother Bharati. Today, when he reached the village of Veer Saput and paid homage at stages, he will always be in the hearts of the 8 crore people of the state. The state and the country are proud of him.'' At the same time, CM Shivraj said, "Every year, fairs will be held on the pyres of martyrs, this will be the rest of the mark of death on the homeland. I pay homage to Amar Shaheed Karanveer Singh Rajput, the son of Madhya Pradesh, 1 crore will be given to his family members, brother will be taken into government service. He will interact with the family members and install a statue of Amar shaheed in the village. Government institutions will also be in his name.''
