Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya last Thursday during which the two discussed the status vaccination program of Covid-19 in the state. In fact, during the meeting, the two also talked about the third covid wave and inquired about it. At present, a meeting was convened to take stock of the covid-19 situation in the state in the manner in which health experts are repeatedly warning of the third wave.

During the same meeting, the two leaders also discussed the development of health infrastructure in the state. The Health Minister discussed covid as well as the development of chemical fertilizer plants in the State. Just before this meeting, in a series of tweets, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan had said, "The situation of covid in the state is under control. Only seven covid cases have been detected in the Indore district.''

At the same time, he had said, "71,090 samples were tested, out of which only 18 were found to be covid-19 positive. As per available data, a total of 70,000 to 75,000 covid tests are being conducted daily in the State.'' In addition, he has also warned people that the second covid wave is not over and they should follow the proper behavior of Covid.

Also in another tweet of his, he wrote about vaccination. "Madhya Pradesh has achieved a milestone in vaccination against Covid-19," he wrote. The state has administered 10.34 lakh vaccines today (Thursday), the highest in India for today, with more than 3 crore people vaccinated in the state so far.
