Bhopal: The holy festival of Dussehra is being celebrated today and you must know that this festival symbolizes the victory of truth over untruth, religion over iniquity and good over evil. Every year, the festival of Dussehra is celebrated on the Dashmi of Shukla paksha of the Ashwin month. Several leaders including Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have greeted the people today. MP CM Shivraj has tweeted and said, 'Om Ram Ramai Namah Happy Vijayadashmi! By imbibing the teachings of the ideal life of Lord Shri Ram, destroy the evils within you like anger, jealousy, greed, ego, let's destroy corruption, poverty, dirt like Ravana and contribute in building a new India.'
He further wrote: "The festival of victory of truth over falsehood is being celebrated this year with the Covid Protocol, simple programmes are being organized at various places, citizens are urged to carry out all the programmes with precautions while keeping social distance.'' Apart from him, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra also tweeted: "Heartiest greetings on Vijayadashmi, a symbol of the victory of truth over falsehood, this festival of victory of good over evil inspires us to move forward on the path of truth. May this festival bring happiness and joy to all of you.''
At the same time, he has written: "Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all of you on Vijayadashami festival, a symbol of victory of truth over untruth, victory of good over evil.'' Apart from him, the Congress has tweeted: "In Madhya Pradesh - the victory of truth over untruth, the victory of religion over iniquity, the victory of virtue over sin, the victory of good over evil, the victory of mercy over anger, the victory of righteousness over tyranny, the victory of knowledge over ignorance, the victory of Shriram over every Ravan.''
