Mumbai: Mumbai Police is on the lookout for a man who has threatened Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's secretary Milind Narvekar on WhatsApp. Sources close to the case said that Narvekar has complained to Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagarale and since then the Mumbai Crime Branch has come forward to investigate the case. A senior official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said, "Narvekar received WhatsApp from an unknown phone number who had written some demands. He also threatened to conduct an inquiry against them by the CBI, ED, NIA, or other Central Government agencies and implicate them if they (Narvekars) do not engage their demands.''

As soon as the WhatsApp message was received, Narvekar informed Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagarale. After that, he also gave a written complaint. Well, you must be aware that Narvekar is the Secretary of Shiv Sena and is considered very close to the Thackeray family. In the same case, an official says, "They think the number used to message WhatsApp must have been used by an app also known as the virtual number. We have sought information about the number from the mobile company, work is on to find out who is behind it.''

Let me tell you all that something similar happened earlier last Thursday. Three persons were arrested by the crime branch's anti-action cell at that time. In fact, the three men, in the voice of NCP President Sharad Pawar, called Ashish Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, CM, Maharashtra, and talked about transfer postings.
