Gwalior: A major incident has been reported recently from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. In fact, it was very costly for a young woman living here to turn down a marriage proposal. Angered by the information received, the girl's Facebook friend put up posters describing her as her wife and her parents as their in-laws in the same girl's neighborhood. Finally, disturbed, the girl has lodged a police complaint. The case is said to be from the Bahorapur police station area of Gwalior. The victim lives here with her family, while the accused youth is a resident of Rajasthan.

Talking about the whole issue, CSP Nagendra Singh Sikarwar said that a young woman has complained that she was befriended by Facebook about a year ago with a young man from Jhalawar in Rajasthan. The two changed their mobile numbers during a conversation on Facebook. After that, the two started talking on the phone. For some time, a young man came to Gwalior to meet his friend and proposed marriage to her. The young woman was surprised to hear this and refused to marry.

After learning this, the youth put up posters in the girl's neighborhood in which he described the girl as his wife and her parents as his in-laws. At the same time, the youth uploaded and shared similar posts on social media platforms other than Facebook and WhatsApp. Seeing all this, the young woman asked the young man about the act and said, "If she wants to get rid of all this, put money in his account.'' After seeing this, the girl reached the police station and lodged a complaint. An FIR has now been registered against the accused youth in the case and a search is on for him.
