Mumbai: BJP is constantly attacking the Uddhav Thackeray government of the state over the debt of farmers in Maharashtra . Meanwhile, Uddhav Thackeray has made a big announcement regarding the debt of farmers. CM Thackeray said that due to the Model Election Code and Corona epidemic in Maharashtra, there has been a delay of few days in waiving the loans of farmers. But now we have decided that we are starting the process of waiving the debts of the remaining farmers.

It is worth mentioning that on Monday, the BJP, under the leadership of state chief Chandrakant Patil, opened a front against the state government and demonstrated in front of the Kolhapur DM office. He had said that the monsoon is over, sowing has also been completed, but still farmers are not getting crop loans. Farmers are facing very difficult due to unseasonal rains.

Chandrakant had targeted the Uddhav government and said that the government had announced compensation for the farmers, but they have not received anything yet. The government had said that compensation of 25000 to 50000 rupees per hectare would be provided, but farmers were not given anything.
