Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that the ambitious housing distribution program and housing construction program will continue till January 20. So far 39 per cent of households claim to have completed the distribution. Authorities have been directed to complete the distribution of houses in 9,668 YSSAR Jagannath colonies out of more than 17,000 colonies. Collectors have been directed to take steps to resolve pending cases as soon as possible. He said that transparency in governance has been taken to the next level and it was directed to continue this even longer. CM Jagan on Tuesday conducted a review on the response program. As part of this .. A meeting was held with the district collectors on the distribution of houses and the initial issue of construction of houses

Speaking on the occasion, CM Jagan said, "A great event has taken place in the history of Andhra Pradesh. The name of each collector will go down in history. There was a look of joy on the sisters' faces. You will receive the blessings of all of them. Along with me, all of you will have this joy as well. While maintaining home construction in Lay Outs is one program, providing infrastructure in them is another. Minimum facilities like roads, electricity, drinking water etc. should be provided. Depending on the size of the colony, other social infrastructure should also be included. Schools, Anganwadis, parks, village and ward secretariats, village clinics should come. These should be arranged according to the size and population of the colony.

SOP should be prepared in this regard. Everything should be completed by the time the construction of the houses is completed. Everything should be completed after starting work on a lay out. All the houses in the colony should be completed after the commencement of works in the colony. If additional houses need to be sanctioned, we will immediately sanction them accordingly and take steps to complete all the houses in the colony, ”he said.

CM Jagan said that there should not be a situation where the YSSR Jagannath colonies should be turned into slums and there should be a pleasant atmosphere everywhere. It was suggested that the roads should be constructed in an innovative manner and elevated well. It was also ordered to adopt innovative methods in the installation of street lights and electricity poles, and to take certain precautions when building colonies. Collectors were urged to pay attention and complete all the works. He said he had already made some suggestions on designs and other issues, adding that collectors should take this as a challenge and prove their effectiveness.

There should be a bus stop outside each colony. The bus stop should also be styled in a high-tech manner. Colony entrances should also be innovative. Our signature should be visible on the construction of the colonies. Focus on providing systems like underground drainage now. Options should be taken immediately from the beneficiaries regarding the construction of houses. Complete the opening of bank accounts in the name. Use the APHousing website to release payments. Water supply and electricity are the most important factors in building a house. They need to be prioritized first.

Collectors should conduct regular reviews. DPRs should be prepared on the infrastructure to be undertaken in the colonies. These are very big colonies .. We are doing city panchayats in some places. DPRs should also be prepared for sewage treatment plants. Build a model house in each colony. The quality of the material used in the construction of houses is very important. .See the supply of sand to the colony where the houses are being built. See also metal‌ supply.
