Lucknow: Ayushman Bharat scheme has completed one year and on this occassio' program was organized on Monday at CM residence in Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow. In this program, CM Yogi greeted the beneficiaries of 'Ayushman Bharat'. On this occasion, a short film based on Ayushman Bharat Scheme in the last 1 year was also shown.

During the program, CM Yogi said that so far 1 lakh 87 thousand patients have got the benefit of the scheme. For this, about 211 crores 70 lakh rupees were paid by the government. In this, 2261 cancer and 1055 kidney patients have undergone their treatment. Apart from this, CM Yogi has informed that the government is working to open 15 new medical colleges in the state, out of which MBBS admissions will start in 8 new medical colleges by next year. With this, doctors will be able to serve from village to village and if the proposal is passed from the centre, by next year only 15 more new medical colleges will be laid.

Giving information on increasing the number of doctors in the state, CM Yogi Adityanath has informed that the government is now filling the bonds with those people who are doing MBBS. Under this, they will work in rural areas for at least 2 years. CM Yogi Adityanath said that in the coming time there will be 1 medical college between every 2 districts.
