In the cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, several decisions have been taken in view of the increasing threat of coronavirus. In order to eradicate congestion in government offices, the employees will be ensured to work from home and the state government has announced to provide free treatment of corona. For this, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary. All the examinations and competitive examinations in UP have been postponed. The date of closure of school-college and cinema houses has been further extended. Meaning that school-colleges and cinema houses will be closed till April 2 in UP. The government has also banned all picketing demonstrations. In the meeting, the Chief Minister has asked 100% to follow the advisory of the Central Government on the corona and has also appealed to the people to avoid going into the crowd. All the tourist places in the state will be closed till 31 March.

Tehsil Day and Janta Darshan closed till April 2: Tehsil Day and Janta Darshan have been closed till April 2 in the state. The Chief Minister said that the Finance Minister's committee will submit a report in three days so that the people doing daily work can be supported due to the closure. It includes the Agriculture Minister and Labor Minister. Some money will be given in the account by the government to the laborers.
