Ayodhya: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has hit out at previous governments in Ayodhya. In a recent statement, he said, "The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is using public money not on building a 'Graveyard' but in building temples.'' At the same time, he also said, "Earlier public money was spent on land for 'Graveyard,' but under his BJP government, it is being spent on reconstruction and beautification.''

Let me tell all of you that at the grand Deepotsav programme organized by the State Government at Ram Katha Park, CM Yogi has also announced free ration by 2022 to the people benefiting under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. "Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will continue to get free ration till Holi next year.'' He further said, "The scheme, which was launched to provide free ration to the poor during the Covid-19 epidemic, was scheduled to expire in November this year, but his government decided to extend it till Holi (March) next year as there is an epidemic. It's not over yet."

He said, "Under this scheme, beneficiaries will get salt, sugar, pulses and oil along with wheat and rice. His government's decision to expand the scheme will benefit the 15 crore people of Uttar Pradesh. Our Government also launched 50 various projects worth Rs. 661 crore.'' At the same time, he hit out at the previous governments and said, "Earlier, the state's money was spent on land for Graveyard. Today, money is being spent on the construction and rejuvenation of temples.''
