Lucknow: The state government under the leadership of UP CM Yogi Adityanath is constantly working on the policy of zero tolerance towards corruption. Taking major action in this direction on Friday, CM Yogi Adityanath issued orders for the departmental inquiry by suspending 13 officers for not complying with the stamp manual in Badaun treasury and laxity in work.

CM Yogi has suspended 3 senior treasurers working in the Badaun treasury for the embezzlement of Rs 5 crore and ordered an inquiry. In the said case, 10 officers of the Tehsildar level have also been suspended and a departmental inquiry has been ordered against them. CM Yogi has taken the complaints of non-payment of claims by insurance companies seriously.

In Barabanki a large number of complaints were being received about inadmissibility in giving insurance claims to farmers. In view of this, CM Yogi Adityanath has issued an order of inquiry against the insurance company. CM Yogi Adityanath has issued instructions to release Rs 174.97 crore for construction of access road and protective works on the river Ganges between Alipur Barware and Sahaswan (Badaun) in Kasganj district.
