Hathras: A road accident took place in UP's Hathras a day earlier. Six people died in this road accident. The incident has been taken seriously by the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh. The government has taken action in the matter and removed Hathras Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikas Vaidya. Vikas Vaidya has been removed on charges of negligence.

The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred Hathras Superintendent of Police Vikas Vaidya. Vikas Vaidya has been removed from SP Hathras and sent to Mirzapur. Vikas Vaidya has been posted as commander of the 39th Corps PAC. Devesh Kumar Pandey has been made the new Superintendent of Police of Hathras in place of Vikas Vaidya. Devesh Kumar Pandey is currently posted as Commander-in-Chief of 39th Corps PAC Mirzapur. On behalf of the government, Additional Director General of Police, Personnel, Raja Srivastava has issued the transfer order. In the transfer order issued by the government, both Vikas Vaidya and Devesh Kumar Pandey have been asked to take charge immediately.

The order for the transfer of Vikas Vaidya and Devesh Kumar Pandey has been issued by the government on the very next day of the accident involving the Kanwariyas in Hathras. It is worth noting that in Hathras, an uncontrollable dumper had trampled six Kanwariyas who were going to Gwalior with Gangajal from Haridwar. Six people died in the accident. The accident took place at Badhar crossroads of Hathras-Agra road under Sadabad police station area of Hathras district. The injured in the accident were referred to Agra Medical College by the doctors. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had condoled the death of six Kanwariyas in the Hathras accident. Now, the next day after the accident, the government transferred the Superintendent of Police for negligence.
