New Delhi: It is mandatory to have e-KYC to avail of the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. The government has also set a deadline of July 31 for this. The farmers are going to be deprived of the next instalment if they do not get e-KYC done before this date.

The government has so far transferred 11 instalments of the PM Kisan Scheme. At present, farmers are eagerly waiting for the 12th instalment. According to reports, 2,000 rupees are going to be sent to the farmers' account on any date in September. The government has also issued instructions to the farmers to complete the process of e-KYC before that.

How to get e-KYC?:-

- First of all, go to the PM Kisan Yojana website http://pmkisan.gov.in.
- Here you will see the Farmer's Corner, where click on the e-KYC tab.  
- Now a new page will open, where you enter the Aadhaar number and click on the Search tab.
- Now the OTP will go to the number on your registered mobile number.
- Click on OTP submit.
- Enter Aadhaar registered mobile OTP and your e-KYC will be done.

Notices being sent to illegal beneficiaries:- Reports say that under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, Rs 2,000 is sent to the bank accounts of farmers at an interval of every 4 months. However, during this period, many cases of illegally availing of the PM Kisan scheme have come to light. Now, notices have also been sent to such illegal beneficiaries to return the money. This process of sending notices has been going on for several months. The process of recovering money from illegal beneficiaries is in progress. Action can also be taken against such people for not returning the money.
