Lucknow: Targeting the earlier governments, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has said that since 1984, people who came to India from East Pakistan kept on stumbling from door to door. Those people also used to go to the previous governments, but the louse did not crawl on the ears of the insensitive governments. Why was the pain of these poor not reaching the ears of those governments who used to talk about the poor? Why was the hand not extended to help the Musahar castes? Why did the people of Vantangiya village become orphans?

CM Yogi was giving a speech at Lok Bhavan on Tuesday while giving plots and other facilities including Chief Minister's residence to 63 displaced Hindu Bengali families. On this occasion, CM Yogi also gave lease documents and checks to 10 people. He said that why the earlier governments remained insensitive in relation to Tharu, Kol, and other castes. Our government for the first time converted 38 villages of Vantangia into revenue villages and gave them the right to vote in the assembly elections. Not a single pucca house could be built for him in the seventy years after independence. Today everyone has pucca houses.

CM Yogi instructed the Revenue Department, Village Development Department and Panchayat Department from the stage itself that the leases which have been given should be settled as smart villages. It should be planned, schools, hospitals, drinking water facilities, community centers should also be there. Add to employment. Women and men also got employment. If they can move towards self-reliance, only then there will be a big achievement.
