Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday dedicated the beautification works and e-Vidhana of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Gallery. With this, the way has now been opened for the assembly proceedings to go paperless. This is being considered as a big step of the Yogi government toward environmental protection. Through e-Vidhan, the proceedings of the UP Assembly will be conducted online. The system has been installed on the table in front of each MLA's seat. From the first session itself, the changed view of the House will be visible.

Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna were also present during the launch of the e-Vidhan today. In the past, assembly speaker Satish Mahana had given information in this regard. He had also convened an all-party meeting on this issue. After the implementation of the new system, the state assembly will become hi-tech and digital. This will not only enable all the departments of the Assembly to be connected together, but it will also work on social media.

Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana had said that if all the legislative assemblies of India will be connected to the same portal, then all the agendas, notices, questions and answers will be on it. Along with this, the Bills will also be shown on this. Till now, if anyone asked a question, he had to send every question first to the concerned department and then the answer would come. This problem will end once the e-Vidhan system is implemented. Let us know that UP is the first assembly in the country to run by the e-Vidhan system.
