Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday (September 16) launched the National Poshan Maah-2022 at Lok Bhawan in Lucknow. On this occasion, he lashed out at the previous governments, pointing to the alleged corruption over Anganwadi nutrition. CM Yogi said that those who used to sell liquor were also selling nutrition, we stopped them.  

On the occasion of the launch of National Poshan Maah-2022, CM Yogi virtually inaugurated 501 newly built Anganwadi centres across the state. Along with this, the foundation stone of 199 Anganwadi centres was also kept. He also launched two mobile apps like Bal Pitara and Sahyog. He also released the Nutrition Manual Saksham. He also launched the Dular programme for children in the age group of 3 to 6 years. On this occasion, CM Yogi also performed the Annaprashan of some children as a token. He caressed and blessed the children. After this, the baby shower ritual of three pregnant women was completed.  

The Dular programme is being taken up as a pilot project in 8 aspirational districts. In the program, CM Yogi said I am happy that in the last five years, Uttar Pradesh has progressed a lot under the guidance of PM Modi in terms of nutrition. If the mother is healthy, then our present will also be healthy and skilled. By connecting with technology, we are able to take the benefits of the government's schemes to needy people. He said education and health are the foundations of any ideal society. He directed to provide the empowered Anganwadi booklet developed in the program in every Anganwadi centre.
