Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath attended 'Sahibzada Diwas' in Lucknow on Monday and reached gurudwara and paid obeisance. BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra also bowed to Dashami Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj on 'Sahibzada Diwas' dedicated to the sacrifice of four Sahibzads and Mata Gujri. 'Sahibzada Diwas' dedicated to the martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh's four sons and Mother Gujri was organized at CM Yogi's official residence at Five Kalidas Marg.

CM Yogi said, "Sikh community in the country and the world is known for its manhood. But the names and symbols of those who came with the aim of enslaving India and converting India into Islam have been erased today. The Guru tradition of India is not a common tradition, but a divine tradition. CM Yogi said, "Aurangzeb's sepoy Jalim Wazir Khan had tried to lure these Sahibzada in many ways, but no deviation towards the country and religion was acceptable to the four Sahibzada.'

In his address, CM Yogi said, "Everyone knows who were the ones who drove away Kashmiri Hindus and Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir. Guru Teg Bahadur Ji Maharaj was the one who protected Kashmiri Pandits in the country. He said that the Guru Tradition programs should be held in every Hindu household and not just to the Gurudwara.
