Mumbai: The people of Mumbai, the financial capital of the country, have once again been hit by inflation. Actually, the prices of CNG-PNG have increased once again. The new prices have been implemented from 12 o'clock at night. Mahanagar Gas Ltd has increased the price of CNG by Rs 3.5 per kg, while that of PNG by Rs 1.5 per SCM.
Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) on Friday (November 4) revised the prices of CNG and PNG, making them more expensive from 12 am. MGL has made this increase citing rising costs. Apart from this, the low supply of gas is also a major reason for this increase. Now after an increase of Rs 3.5 in Mumbai, the price of CNG has increased to Rs 89.50 per kg. With this, the price of PNG in Mumbai has increased to Rs 54 per SCM with a rise of Rs 1.5.
Earlier, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) had also given a shock of inflation to the people of Mumbai. In fact, last month MGL increased the price of CNG by Rs 6 per kg and PNG by Rs 4 per standard cubic meter (SCM) in Mumbai. After this, the price of CNG was Rs 86 per kg and the price of PNG was Rs 52.50 per SCM.
