New Delhi: The month of April is coming to an end and the sun has started showing his sharpness. People want to spend more time inside the house to avoid heat waves, but here too the difficulties for them are no less. Actually, we're talking about the power crisis. According to reports coming from across the country, cooler-AC shapes have become due to power cuts or other technical problems in various states. The biggest reason for the power crisis is believed to be the shortage of coal. In such a situation, let's know, what are the halls of electricity and coal in different states:-

Uttar Pradesh:- The demand for power in the state is around 20,000 MW, while the availability is running between 18000-19000 MW. Due to this, the power system of the state is getting derailed. From other major cities, including the capital Lucknow, district headquarters to rural areas, unannounced power cuts at night and day are also reeling under unannounced power cuts.

Rajasthan:- Rajasthan is also facing a shortage of coal. The demand for power in the state has increased by about 31 per cent during the summer season. While the number of coal rakes coming in has come down. In Rajasthan, 27 rakes are required every day, while only 18 to 20 are available. In such a situation, the hours of power cuts are increasing.

Uttarakhand:- The annual demand of power in the state is 2468 MW. Various projects generate 5211 MW of power here, but only 1320 MW of power is available under the state quota. After cm Pushkar Dhami's strictures amid the problem being faced by the people of the state, the UPCL itself has also admitted that it will bring the cut under control in a week.

Haryana-
The cuts announced amid the power crisis in Haryana have reduced the production in industries by up to 40 per cent. In such a situation, the earlier contracts of industrialists are on the verge of breaking. Running industries from generators has increased the production cost. Due to this, the businessmen are losing thousands of crores of rupees.

Punjab:- The situation in Punjab is somewhat similar to that of Haryana, where many thermal plants are facing a severe shortage of coal. The power shortage due to this severe coal crisis has made the people even more miserable in the scorching season.

Madhya Pradesh:- People are facing a big problem after the power crisis deepened in the state. However, state Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar says that there are some problems, which we are resolving on a war footing. He claimed that there is no shortage of coal in the state. The heat has increased, in such a way, the demand for electricity has also increased, then the production also needs to be increased.

However, the country's Coal Secretary AK Jain has denied the shortage of coal, saying that the main reason for this power crisis is the large decline in power generation from various fuel sources. He said that several factors are responsible for the low stock of coal with thermal power plants. He said that after the reduction in the havoc of Corona, the economy accelerated and the demand for electricity increased, besides factors such as early summer onset this year, rise in gas and imported coal prices and rapid fall of power generation of coastal thermal power plants are responsible for the power crisis.
