In the western eastern regions of the state, passers-by faced a lot of hardships due to dense fog on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

The day's temperature also continued to decline due to cold air and melting. The divisions of Moradabad, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Agra, Bareilly have seen a decline in daytime temperatures in particular. The day's temperature in Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Lucknow, Bareilly, Agra, Meerut, Varanasi divisions has been recorded below normal.
