Bollywood film "Animal" has been criticized for portraying Ranbir Kapoor's character as toxic. In the movie, he makes comments about Rashiika's private parts, sparking controversy. Moreover, his intimate scenes have drawn backlash, leading to heated debates on social media. Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director, recently addressed the uproar in an interview, defending Ranbir and describing him as childlike.

Sandeep expressed his surprise at the accusations, stating that he never intended to depict such scenes deliberately. He emphasized that his films promote female empowerment, with female characters taking the lead in approaching intimate situations. Sandeep argued that if one observes women in the United States, it becomes evident that they lead independent lifestyles and are not inclined to conform to Indian standards.

According to Sandeep, when asked about the controversial scenes in the film, Ranbir was childlike, seemingly under Rashiika's control. He highlighted that he felt everything was under control, and Ranbir appeared like a child as Rashiika directed him. Sandeep mentioned specific scenes in the movie that conveyed Ranbir's submissive behavior under Rashiika's control.

It's important to note that "Animal" has been released for 19 days, accumulating a worldwide earning of 850 crores so far. The film's success is notable despite the controversies surrounding its portrayal of intimate scenes and Ranbir Kapoor's character.
