Kochi: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) has launched a scathing attack on the Congress over the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The CPM has said that the Congress' Bharat Jodo Yatra will be in Kerala for 18 days, while only 2 days in Uttar Pradesh. The CPM has described it as a strange way of Congress to fight the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the BJP. At the same time, when Congress did not find any answer to this statement of CPM, the oldest party of the country hit back and described the CPM as the A team of the BJP.

In fact, the CPM has shared a cartoon of former Congress president and current Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi on social media. It fears that this is a 'Bharat Jodo' campaign or a Seat Jodo campaign. The CPM has written in this poster that Bharat Jodo Yatra will be 18 days in Kerala, while only 2 days in Uttar Pradesh. This is a strange way of fighting the RSS and the BJP. The poster also depicts the map of Kerala and Uttar Pradesh.

Hitting back at the CPM, Congress national general secretary Jairam Ramesh has said that it is better to do your homework instead of how and why the yatra was planned. He wrote that this is a foolish criticism by the A team of BJP on MunduModi soil. Actually, Congress has been continuously attacking Kerala CM P Vijayan. Congress describes Vijayan as a dhoti-wearing version of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
